I had 88 blog entries yesterday. A lucky number in China. Today I have one. Something got corrupted, I didn’t back it up and POOF! Say goodbye to the last few months of bloggage. So today I start anew. FRESH.For my first post in the new digs I’m going to share some things with you about a week long trip to Gujarat that I’ve just returned from. Richard Orange, a writer from London and I flew up to Jamnagar and then drove to a small village called Salaya where these guys build boats by hand with no architect and no plans that carry 1000 tons of cargo across the Indian Ocean to Dubai, Iran and Somalia. They stick a beam in the ground and build up from there. These guys can’t read and write. They don’t measure. They do it by eye. A M A Z I N G. Have a look at a few of the images and let me know what you think.
